Duties
- Assist residents or clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to ensure their comfort and dignity
- Support the implementation of personalized care plans tailored to each individual’s needs and preferences
- Provide companionship and emotional support to foster a positive environment for residents or clients
- Help with meal preparation, feeding, and ensuring proper nutrition and hydration
- Maintain accurate documentation of care provided using IT systems and update care plans regularly
- Communicate effectively with team members, family members, and healthcare professionals to coordinate care delivery
- Drive or accompany clients on appointments or outings when required, ensuring safe transportation and adherence to schedules
Requirements
- Valid driving license and ability to drive safely for home care visits or outings
- Experience working in a care home or providing home care services is highly desirable
- Good understanding of creating and following care plans tailored to individual needs
- Proficiency in using IT systems for documentation and communication purposes
- Strong communication skills in English to interact clearly with clients, families, and team members
- Ability to work independently in home settings or as part of a team within a care home environment
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a caring attitude and active listening abilities
