Litigation Lawyer on a fixed term contract to cover maternity leave from September/October 2026 minimum 9 months but with possibility of an extension to 12 months

Exciting prospect for an ambitious, motivated, and enthusiastic Litigation Lawyer with a minimum of 1 years experience to assist the Dispute Resolution Team with their case load during a period of maternity leave. . You will be expected to conduct your own case load of Litigation matters whilst also assisting other department members. You should enjoy working to and achieving deadlines within a busy office environment. You will be skilled at dealing with clients, professionals and other third parties to provide an excellent level of service. .
It would be beneficial to have experience of a mixture of commercial disputes including contract, director/shareholder disputes, warranty claims, insolvency work, debt recovery, fraud and professional negligence. Experience of contentious property work is preferable (but not essential) including possession proceedings, rights of way and boundary/land disputes. You may also be required to assist the Personal Injury Partner with Claimant Personal injury matters from time to time.
Excellent organisational, written and IT skills are essential. The successful candidate will be proficient with MS Office, experience using a case management system is ideal but not essential.
This role requires exceptional file management skills with a high level of attention to detail.
