At Parallel Care Solutions, we believe that every child deserves to feel safe, valued, and supported as they grow. We are looking for a Deputy Shift Manager to help lead our children’s residential home, someone who can combine leadership with warmth, guidance, and care.
This role is more than management. It’s about creating a therapeutic environment where children can heal, build trust, and develop the confidence to thrive. You will support the Registered Manager, guide the team and be actively involved in day-to-day life in the home.
Your Role Will Involve:
Supporting and developing staff to provide nurturing, therapeutic care
Building trusting relationships with children through presence and consistency
Leading by example, working shifts alongside the team, including regular sleep-ins
Ensuring our home remains safe, warm, and compliant with care standards

Work Pattern is roughly,
* 9 shifts per month with regular sleep-in expectations
* 4 office days per month
equating to a total of 173 hours a month

Pay: £38,372.00-£40,000.00 per year
