Great Gransden Preschool Playgroup – Term Time Only
Great Gransden Preschool Playgroup is looking for a caring and enthusiastic Early Years / Preschool Practitioner to join our friendly and supportive team.
You will support the day‑to‑day running of the preschool and help provide high‑quality education and care in a safe, inclusive and stimulating environment for young children.
Key responsibilities
- Supporting children’s learning and development through the EYFS
- Acting as a key person for a small group of children/ working 1:1 as additional support for children with SEND
- Planning and engaging in play‑based activities
- Supporting care routines, including snacks and personal care
- Working both indoors and outdoors in all weathers
- Working closely with parents, carers and the wider team
About you
- Level 2 Early Years qualification (Level 3 desirable)
- Experience working with young children in an early years setting
- A warm, positive and flexible approach
- Strong communication skills and basic IT skills
- GCSE grade C/4[or equivalent] or higher in English and Maths
- Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive practice
- Right to work in the UK

This position is approximately 12-18 hours per week with extra optional hours cover.
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: £12.71-£13.41 per hour
