Responsibilities
- Operate production machinery safely and efficiently, adhering to all safety protocols and procedures
- Assist with food production processes, including ingredient handling, mixing, and packaging
- Conduct quality checks throughout the production line to ensure products meet safety and quality standards
- Follow HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) guidelines to maintain food safety compliance
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas in accordance with food safety regulations
- Monitor equipment performance; perform basic mechanical troubleshooting and report issues promptly
- Keep accurate records of production data, batch numbers, and quality checks using basic math skills for calculations
Skills
- Knowledge of HACCP principles and food safety standards
- Experience or familiarity with food production processes is preferred
- Basic mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor equipment issues
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions
- Good communication skills for teamwork and reporting issues effectively
- Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for measurements and data recording
- Willingness to work in a physically active environment, standing for extended periods

Pay: £25,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
