Al-FaPerio Clinic is looking for a reliable and conscientious Cleaner to join our friendly team on a part-time basis. This role is essential in helping us maintain the exceptionally high standards of cleanliness and hygiene expected within our specialist dental practice.
This position would suit someone with previous cleaning experience who takes pride in their work and understands the importance of maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming healthcare environment.
Al-FaPerio Clinic is a modern specialist periodontal and implant practice dedicated to providing outstanding patient care. We pride ourselves on delivering treatment in a professional, welcoming environment, supported by the highest standards of infection prevention and cleanliness.
You will be responsible for ensuring all areas of the practice are cleaned to an exceptional standard in line with healthcare and infection control requirements.
Key duties include:
- Cleaning and sanitising surgeries, decontamination areas, and clinical rooms.
- Cleaning reception, waiting areas, toilets, and staff facilities.
- Emptying waste and managing clinical and non-clinical waste appropriately.
- Following infection control, Health & Safety, and COSHH guidelines.
- Replenishing cleaning supplies and reporting any maintenance or cleaning issues.
- Ensuring the practice remains clean, safe, and presentable for patients and staff.
Cleaning hours are flexible and can be discussed, with work typically carried out outside of patient appointment times.
- Previous cleaning experience (healthcare or dental experience is desirable but not essential).
- Excellent attention to detail and a strong work ethic.
- Reliable, trustworthy, and punctual.
- Ability to work independently and follow cleaning schedules.
- Experience cleaning within a dental, medical, or healthcare environment.
- Knowledge of infection control procedures and COSHH regulations.
- Competitive hourly rate of £12.71 per hour.
- Part-time hours of up to 8 hours per week.
