We are seeking a skilled and passionate Chef de Partie to join our dynamic culinary team. Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook dishes according to specified recipes and presentation standards
- Assist in the organisation and management of designated sections within the kitchen
- Ensure all food is prepared efficiently, accurately, and to the highest quality standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of workstations in compliance with food safety regulations
- Monitor stock levels and communicate needs for replenishment to the head chef or sous chef
- Support the training of junior kitchen staff and apprentices where applicable
- Adhere strictly to health and safety guidelines at all times during food preparation and service
- Contribute ideas for menu development and seasonal specials to enhance customer experience
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a professional kitchen environment
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices
- Previous restaurant experience is highly desirable
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team
- Culinary qualifications or relevant training are preferred but not essential for highly motivated candidates with substantial experience
