Job Summary
Join our dynamic culinary team as a Kitchen Porter/Kitchen Assistant. In this vital role, you will support maintaining kitchen cleanliness, dishwashing and assist with basic kitchen tasks. Responsibilities
- Assist with food preparation tasks, including washing, peeling, chopping, and organizing ingredients to support chefs and kitchen staff
- Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen areas by washing dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and cleaning surfaces regularly
- Ensure all kitchen equipment is properly stored, cleaned, and maintained to meet health and safety standards
- Help manage stock levels by organizing supplies and notifying management of inventory needs
- Follow health and safety protocols diligently to promote a safe working environment for all team members
- Serve as a friendly point of contact for team members and contribute positively to the hospitality atmosphere in the kitchen
