If you have a keen eye for detail, strong administrative skills and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our Work Experience Team as a Work Placement Administrator at Peterborough College.
Working closely with employers, students and colleagues across the College Group, you'll play a key role in ensuring work placements are accurately recorded, fully compliant and effectively managed. This is a varied role where no two days are the same, offering the opportunity to make a real difference to students as they gain valuable industry experience.
What you'll be doing as a administrator:
Maintaining employer, student and placement records across our work placement systems and databases.
Processing placement documentation and ensuring all compliance requirements, including insurance and consent forms, are completed before placements commence.
Monitoring placement hours, reviews and feedback, producing reports to support team performance and student progress.
Administering bursary funding and financial support for eligible students in line with funding regulations.
Coordinating DBS applications, verifying documentation and tracking application progress.
Responding to employer, student and staff enquiries, delivering excellent customer service and administrative support.
Supporting meetings, maintaining team records and ensuring documentation remains accurate, organised and audit-ready.
We would love it if you have:
Experience in an administrative or customer-focused role.
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office and Google applications.
The ability to manage multiple priorities and work to deadlines.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
A professional and confidential approach when handling sensitive information.
