The Role
Every great bar has someone behind it who loves the craft.
As Head Bartender, you'll be the driving force behind the Boot Factory Bar.
This is a hands-on role where you'll spend your evenings creating exceptional drinks, leading the team from the front and building relationships with guests who return time and time again.
You'll champion quality, consistency and creativity while ensuring every cocktail, every glass of wine and every interaction reflects the warmth and personality of Artist Residence.
Working closely with the Restaurant & Bar Manager, you'll help shape the drinks programme, develop seasonal cocktails and create a lively neighbourhood bar that's loved by both locals and hotel guests.
A Typical Day
Leading the bar team throughout service.
Preparing exceptional cocktails and serving premium wines and spirits.
Delivering knowledgeable, engaging drinks service.
Training and mentoring bartenders.
Maintaining exceptional presentation behind the bar.
Managing stock, ordering and cellar organisation.
Developing seasonal cocktails and drinks menus.
Supporting weddings, private events and celebrations.
Building relationships with regular guests.
Helping create one of Bristol's most welcoming neighbourhood bars.
About You
You'll have a genuine passion for cocktails, wine and hospitality.
You're confident behind a busy bar, enjoy sharing your knowledge and take pride in creating drinks that are beautifully made and consistently served.
You'll naturally lead by example, enjoy developing others and thrive in an environment where quality, creativity and genuine hospitality go hand in hand.
