Full Time HGV Driver
Pocklington Depot- Bond International
Working Hours:
Varied start time from 1pm - 4pm & 10pm start time
Working on an average 50 hour per work - Sunday to Thursday
Hourly Rate - £16.50
OT paid after contracted hours
Job Summary:
To provide a delivery and collection service to all Bond International customers.
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
- Checking the vehicle before commencing run and after completing run, and complete all relevant paperwork.
- Shunting Locally
- Must be flexible (willing to cover other duties as required)
- Keeping accurate records of all deliveries.
- Keeping accurate records of all collections and goods return notices.
- Obtain signed results for all goods delivered.
- Ensuring your vehicle is clean and tidy, externally and internally.
- Ensuring the safe delivery and collection of loads in agreed timescales.
- Ensuring road transport laws and regulations are adhered to.
- Ensuring compliance with Company Health and Safety rules.
- Ensuring that any issues encountered whilst on run are reported.
- Ensuring awareness of safety procedures for goods loading and unloading.
- Adhoc, bulk deliveries to customers, taking trucks for service etc. The above list is not exhaustive and you will be expected to perform any other duties that any reasonably be expected of this position.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Full UK driving licence
- Excellent driving record
- Excellent knowledge of road transport laws.
- Must hold a current CPC DRIVER CARD
- Must hold a current TACHOGRAPH Card
