We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Security Tutor to join our growing team and deliver engaging, compliant, and effective security training programmes.
Role Overview
The successful candidate will deliver classroom-based and practical training to learners pursuing careers within the private security industry. You will be responsible for ensuring learners achieve the required knowledge, skills, and behaviours while maintaining awarding body and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver SIA-related security qualifications and training programmes.
- Teach underpinning knowledge, including security principles, legislation, industry standards, conflict management, and health & safety.
- Deliver practical physical intervention and conflict management training.
- Assess learner performance and provide constructive feedback.
- Maintain accurate learner records and awarding body documentation.
- Support learners to achieve successful outcomes and progression into employment.
- Ensure training is delivered in accordance with current SIA and awarding body requirements.
Essential Qualifications
- Level 3 Award for Deliverers of Physical Intervention Training in the Private Security Industry.
- Level 3 Award in Delivering Conflict Management Training.
- Valid Physical Intervention Tutor Certificate or Licence Agreement issued within the last 12 months by an SIA-approved Physical Intervention training provider (e.g., F1 Training Services, Eventure, HZL, or equivalent).
- Strong knowledge of the private security industry and SIA regulations.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and learner engagement skills.
