Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food and Beverage Assistant to join our team. Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve food and beverages in accordance with established standards
- Assist with food presentation and ensure quality control during service
- Support kitchen staff with basic food preparation tasks, including cooking and plating
- Ensure all food safety and hygiene regulations are strictly followed
- Serve customers efficiently, taking orders accurately and delivering prompt service
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, dining areas, and service equipment
- Supervise junior team members when required, providing guidance and support
- Manage stock levels, assist with inventory checks, and restock supplies as needed
- Uphold high standards of hospitality by creating a welcoming environment for guests
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or restaurant service
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices
- Previous supervising or team management experience within a hospitality setting
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
- Good communication skills to interact confidently with guests and team members
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy periods
- Experience in culinary roles such as barista work or food production is advantageous
- Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate team members and maintain high service standards
- Familiarity with hospitality environments such as hotels or restaurants is desirable
