Northern Trade Solutions Ltd is an established and rapidly growing construction and property maintenance company delivering high-quality residential and commercial projects across Lancashire and the North West.
Due to continued growth and new contract awards, we are looking for an experienced Self-Employed Multi-Skilled Joiner to join our trusted team.
We work across a wide range of sectors including commercial properties, housing associations, retail, industrial sites and residential homes, providing everything from reactive maintenance to large refurbishment and construction projects.
This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable tradesperson looking for long-term, consistent work with a professional company.
About the Role
You will be carrying out a variety of first and second fix joinery and multi-trade maintenance works, including:
- First and second fix joinery
- Internal and external door installations and repairs
- UPVC window and door repairs
- Kitchen fitting and kitchen refurbishments
- Skirting boards, architraves and flooring
- Stair repairs and balustrades
- Stud walls and partitioning
- Roof repairs and timber repairs
- Property refurbishment works
- Reactive maintenance and insurance repairs
- Working within occupied and void properties
- Supporting other trades where required to achieve first-time fixes
Projects include:
- Commercial refurbishments
- Planned maintenance programmes
- Housing association works
- Shop fitting and retail refits
- Residential renovations
- Property maintenance contracts
What We're Looking For
Essential:
- Minimum 5 years' experience as a Joiner
- NVQ Level 2 or equivalent experience
- Excellent first and second fix joinery skills
- Ability to carry out basic multi-trade works
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Professional and customer-focused attitude
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Own van and tools
- UTR Number (Self-Employed)
Desirable:
- CSCS Card
- Experience within social housing or commercial maintenance
- PASMA
- Asbestos Awareness
- First Aid at Work
- DBS Check
