Pet Sitter & Dog Walker – South Cambridge & Saffron Walden Area
Location: South Cambridge & Surrounding Towns
Job Type: Self-Employed, Part-Time, Flexible
About Us
The Cambridge Catsitter is a premium pet sitting and dog walking service covering Cambridge and nearby towns. As the sister company to The Stamford Catsitter (which has grown to serve over 2,000 clients in just six years), we’re expanding fast.
Our team is passionate, friendly, and reliable - providing high-quality care for pets while their owners are away. If you’re an animal lover who enjoys the company of cats, dogs, and other small pets, this could be the perfect role. Expect unlimited cuddles, head boops, and wagging tails - but also a professional, rewarding responsibility.
We manage all bookings and communication via an easy-to-use app, and stay connected through our team WhatsApp group for support and quick updates.

- Visit clients’ homes to care for cats, dogs, and small pets
- Feed, clean, play, and keep them company
- Walk dogs (solo walks only - no pack walks)
- Follow each pet’s care routine and home instructions carefully
- Send detailed photo updates after every visit
- Manage your own schedule via our portal
- Handle client keys securely and professionally
Visits can be morning, afternoon, evening, and weekends - flexibility is key.
Workload increases over school holidays and Christmas, so availability during these periods is essential.

- Double pay on key holiday dates (Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day, Easter Monday)
- Flexible hours – you choose your bookings
- Mileage contribution for visits outside your service area
- Team WhatsApp chat and to be a part of a pet loving community
- Team insurance via PetPlan Petsitters
- A Cambridge Catsitter T-shirt to wear on visits
