Location: Malvern Link, Worcestershire (WR14 1AL)
Shift Pattern: 4-Night Week, Monday to Thursday, 6:00pm – 6:30am (48 hours per week, including paid breaks)

Established in 1968, English Braids Ltd is a respected British manufacturer of high-quality ropes, cords and braids supplied to customers across the UK and around the world. Our products support industries including Marine, Height Safety, Lifting, Industrial Applications and Technical Cords.
Due to continued growth, we are looking for a reliable and motivated Production Operative to join our night shift team at our manufacturing facility in Malvern.

Responsibilities of a Production Operative:
Reporting to the Production Manager, as a Production Operative, you will play a vital role in our manufacturing operation, helping to produce high-quality products that meet customer specifications and quality standards.
- Operating and monitoring production machinery
- Ensuring products meet quality standards
- Working with colleagues to achieve production targets
- Identifying and resolving minor machine issues
- Carrying out routine equipment checks and maintenance
- Always follow health and safety procedures
- Accurately recording production information
- Supporting the training of new team members when required
Requirements to be successful as a Production Operative:
We are looking for someone who is dependable, positive, and eager to contribute to a successful team environment.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment
- Textile or rope manufacturing experience (advantageous but not essential)
- Good English communication skills, both written and verbal
- Good numeracy skills
- Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
- A proactive and positive approach to work
- The ability to remain focused in a fast-paced production environment
- Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic
- The ability to stand and carry out physical duties throughout the shift
- A team-focused attitude with a commitment to high standards
