Van Sales Representative — Bridgend | £26,000 basic + uncapped monthly commission | £35,000 OTE
ARB Autocare Ltd is the Autoglym Professional franchise for Wales, Herefordshire and the Forest of Dean, based on Bridgend Industrial Estate. We've been named Autoglym Franchise of the Year twice — 2014 and 2018 — and we're growing. We're looking for a Van Sales Representative to take on our Bridgend territory.
The role
You'll run a stocked van around an established round, calling on garages, main dealers, valeters, bodyshops, fleet operators and agricultural businesses across South Wales. You're taking on a patch with real customers already on it — this isn't starting from nothing. Your job is to look after them properly and grow the round from there.
It's face-to-face selling: demonstrating products on the spot, solving problems, and building relationships that come back week after week. You'll plan your own diary, manage your own van stock, and you'll be judged on what you sell.
What you'll be doing
- Servicing an existing customer round across the Bridgend territory
- Opening new accounts and growing the patch
- Demonstrating and selling the full Autoglym Professional range
- Managing your own van stock and weekly journey plan
- Working with our Bridgend depot on larger and bulk orders
What we're looking for
- Full UK driving licence (essential)
- Confidence talking to people face-to-face — this is a relationship job, not a cold-call script
- Self-motivation and the discipline to run your own week without someone standing over you
- Someone who sells the range rather than restocking the same three products every visit
- Field sales, van sales, trade counter or motor trade experience is an advantage — but if you've got the right attitude, we'll teach you the products
What we offer
- £26,000 basic salary
- Uncapped commission, paid monthly
