Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and professional Qualified Dental Nurse/Receptionist to join our dental practice. Responsibilities
- Assisting dentists during clinical procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety at all times
- Preparing treatment rooms and sterilising equipment in accordance with health and safety standards
- Managing patient appointments, including scheduling, confirming, and rescheduling as necessary
- Greeting patients warmly upon arrival, ensuring a welcoming environment
- Handling patient records accurately and maintaining confidentiality at all times
- Processing payments and insurance claims efficiently
- Responding promptly to patient enquiries via phone, email, or in person
- Maintaining a clean and organised reception area to promote a professional appearance
- Supporting administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and stock management
Requirements
- recognised qualification as a Dental Nurse with valid registration with the General Dental Council (GDC)
- Proven experience in both dental nursing and reception duties within a dental practice setting
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively under pressure
- Proficiency in IT systems relevant to dental practice management and record keeping
- Compassionate approach to patient care with a focus on delivering outstanding service
- Ability to work well within a team whilst demonstrating initiative when required

Pay: £12.21-£14.55 per hour
