Are you a passionate Art graduate looking to inspire young children through creativity? We are looking for an enthusiastic, imaginative, and dedicated individual to join our team as an Early Years Art Educator.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about art, creativity, and child development. Whether you're looking for part-time or full-time hours, we can offer a flexible contract of 16–40 hours per week to suit the right candidate.
About the Role
As an Early Years Educator, you will play an important role in delivering engaging, creative learning experiences for children aged 2–7 years. You'll use your artistic background to design and deliver inspiring activities that encourage curiosity, confidence, and a love of learning.
Alongside planning and leading creative lessons, you will also support classroom teaching, work collaboratively with colleagues, and provide cover for staff members when required, helping to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the school.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, creative lessons and activities for children aged 2–7 years.
- Inspire children through art-based learning and hands-on experiences.
- Support teaching and learning across the school.
- Provide classroom cover for staff members as required.
- Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to provide high-quality early years education.
- Observe children's progress and contribute to their learning and development.
About You
We're looking for someone who is:
- A graduate with a degree in Art, Fine Art, Illustration, Graphic Design, or a related creative discipline.
- Passionate about working with young children.
- Creative, enthusiastic, and full of ideas.
- Reliable, organised, and able to work as part of a team.
- Able to commute to our setting reliably and arrive on time each day.
- Willing to undertake a Level 3 Early Years qualification, which will be fully arranged and funded by the school for the right candidate.
Previous experience working with children is desirable but not essential. We welcome applicants who are eager to learn and develop a rewarding career in early years education.
Pay: £24,420.00-£28,074.66 per year
