TuneX is a growing performance tuning and exhaust fabrication specialist based in Ilkeston, working primarily with BMW, Audi, Volkswagen, Mercedes-Benz and other performance vehicles.
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Vehicle Technician to join our team. This is a hands on role involving a mixture of servicing, diagnostics, repairs, performance upgrades and vehicle modifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Servicing and maintenance of customer vehicles Vehicle diagnostics and fault finding Engine and drivetrain repairs Suspension, braking and steering repairs Installation of performance upgrades including intercoolers, intakes and exhaust systems Assisting with ECU tuning and performance enhancement projects Maintaining a clean and organised workshop environment Carrying out work to a high standard while meeting customer deadlines
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician or Mechanic Strong diagnostic and fault finding skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Full UK driving licence Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship A genuine interest in performance vehicles and vehicle modification
