Last month, over 800 homeowners across Scotland asked us to call them about selling their home. We only managed to speak to around 200 of them.
That's why this role exists. We don't need you to cold call anyone — ever. We need someone fast, sharp and genuinely good with people to pick up the phone to homeowners who have already asked to hear from us, understand their situation, and book them in with our senior consultants.
Who we are
We Buy Homes Scotland is one of Scotland's fastest-growing property buying companies. We buy homes directly, sell through our own auction house, and manage a portfolio of 350+ properties. Real team, real office in Glasgow city centre, registered with The Property Ombudsman — and growing fast enough that we're hiring two people for this role.
What you'll actually do
You're the first voice a seller hears after they enquire — often within 5 minutes of them hitting "submit." You'll call and WhatsApp new enquiries at pace, ask smart questions about their property, timeline and situation, and book qualified appointments into our consultants' diaries. You'll also re-contact past enquiries who weren't ready before. Every conversation is with someone who asked us to get in touch.
What good looks like (we measure everything, and you'll see the scoreboard)
20+ real conversations a day. 15–20 appointments booked and attended per week. First call inside 5 minutes. If being measured makes you nervous, this isn't your role. If it makes you competitive, keep reading.
The money and the path
£25k–£35k basic depending on experience, plus uncapped commission on every appointment that goes ahead. Realistic first-year earnings £38k–£45k; our best people will beat £50k. And here's the real prize: this is our proven route into a senior Property Consultant seat, where our top performers earn £85k+. We promote from within, and we'll train you from day one — weekly coaching, call reviews, and a clear scorecard for your promotion.
The honest bit
Shifts run on a rota between 8am and 8pm including some evenings and weekend cover — because that's when homeowners answer the phone — with time back in the week. Sales, hospitality, recruitment, call-centre or estate agency backgrounds all work here. Property knowledge isn't required; hunger and warmth are.
