We are looking to employ an experienced lorry loader crane or hydraulic engineer/fitter to our rapidly expanding business. Experience within this field is essential given the requirements of the role.
Daily tasks will mainly include the service and maintenance of lorry loader and skip loader equipment with equipment examined in line with ALLMI guidance.
We are a HIAB approved service centre that has been operating as a Lorry Loader Crane Service and repair centre for 20 years. We have also massively expanded into the installation of new cranes over the past 5 years and this is now an area of the business that is increasing exponentially with fits ongoing every day of the week.
An ideal candidate is someone who has experience working with lorry loader or skip loader and Multilift equipment with the ability and capability to complete repairs, diagnose faults from breakdowns and is punctual, personable and eager to learn.
Overtime is readily available on a daily basis therefore flexibility is also a desired trait. You would be joining a lively and enthusiastic workshop so team working skills are always useful also.
Experience within the Lorry Loader crane servicing and maintenance sector for this role would be most desirable. Current or previous ALLMI operator and/or Through Examination accreditation would be essential to this role and therefore considered on any applications prior to moving to the interview process.
This is a full time position, Mon-Fri 8:00-16:30, with overtime readily available as mentioned above.
Wages are competitive and negotiable depending on skill set and experience. Successful candidates will be given four months probation with performance assessed during this period to determine their ability to complete the role.
