Start People Ltd are seeking a dedicated Packing Operative to join our client in Stanley. In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently preparing products for shipment, ensuring accuracy and quality standards are met. The ideal candidate will possess strong materials handling skills, able to pack products in a neat and timely manner.
This is working 12 hour shifts - the hours a week are 35 hours and 25 minutes.
Working 3 days a week on a shift pattern of DAYS 6am to 6pm AND NIGHTS 6pm to 6am.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carefully pick and pack items according to order specifications, ensuring accuracy
- Manage stock levels by stocking products correctly within the warehouse
- Support the production packing, gluing products
- Conduct quality control checks to maintain product integrity and packaging standards
- Assist with heavy lifting tasks, ensuring safety procedures are followed at all times
Skills
- Proven experience in production operations, including picking & packing and stock management
- Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in order fulfillment and quality control
