Self-Employed Live-In Care Workers – £1,000 Per Week
EMCAS Lincolnshire is recruiting experienced, compassionate and reliable Self-Employed Live-In Care Workers to support individuals to remain safely and independently within their own homes.
This is an excellent opportunity for experienced care workers who enjoy providing consistent, person-centred support and building positive relationships with the people they care for.
Pay & Engagement
£1,000 per week – Self-Employed
Payment is made monthly in arrears on the 5th of each month.
Live-in care workers will be engaged by EMCAS Lincolnshire on a self-employed contractor basis and will be responsible for managing their own tax and National Insurance obligations.
The Role
As a Live-In Care Worker, you will live within the service user's home for the duration of your agreed placement and provide support in accordance with their individual care plan.
Duties may include:
- Supporting with personal care, dressing and continence needs
- Medication support and administration where required
- Preparing meals and supporting good nutrition and hydration
- Mobility support and safe moving and handling
- Providing companionship and emotional support
- Supporting individuals to maintain their independence
- Light household duties related to the person's care and wellbeing
- Supporting appointments, activities and access to the community
- Maintaining accurate daily care records
- Reporting any concerns or changes in health and wellbeing promptly
- Working alongside other healthcare professionals and family members where appropriate

- Able to follow care plans, risk assessments and medication procedures
Previous live-in care experience is desirable, although applications from experienced community or residential care workers will also be considered.
Applicants will be required to complete appropriate compliance checks before accepting a placement, including an Enhanced DBS, references, right-to-work checks and evidence of relevant training and competency.
