We are looking for a caring, organised and reliable Care Coordinator to join our friendly team providing high-quality domiciliary and living care services in Bury St Edmunds and the surrounding areas.
This is a part-time position for 2 days per week, with the opportunity for the hours to increase in the future as the company continues to grow.
About the Role
As a Care Coordinator, you will play an important role in supporting the smooth day-to-day running of our care services. You will work closely with our care team, clients and their families to help ensure that our clients receive safe, consistent and person-centred care.
Your responsibilities may include:
- Coordinating care schedules and rotas
- Liaising with care staff, clients and families
- Responding to queries and helping resolve day-to-day issues
- Supporting the management team with the organisation of care services
- Monitoring care delivery and helping maintain high standards
- Communicating with staff to ensure shifts are appropriately covered
- Maintaining accurate records and care documentation
- Supporting the recruitment, induction and ongoing support of care staff
- Ensuring clients' needs and preferences are communicated effectively to the care team
About You
We are looking for someone who is:
- Caring, compassionate and approachable
- Highly organised with good attention to detail
- Confident communicating with clients, families and care staff
- Reliable and able to work independently
- Comfortable managing multiple tasks and changing priorities
- A good team player with a positive attitude
- Experienced within the care sector or familiar with care coordination (desirable)
Previous experience in a care coordination, senior care, scheduling or similar role would be an advantage, but we are happy to consider candidates with the right attitude, skills and experience.
