We are seeking a dedicated, organised, and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our healthcare team. The successful candidate will support pharmacists in the safe preparation and dispensing of medicines, provide excellent patient care, and contribute to the efficient day-to-day operation of pharmacy services.

Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist pharmacists in preparing, dispensing, and managing prescriptions accurately and efficiently.
- Support the safe supply of medicines in accordance with legal, professional, and organisational procedures.
- Provide advice and guidance to patients on medicines and pharmacy services under the supervision of a pharmacist.
- Support patients and provide excellent customer service in a professional and compassionate manner.
- Maintain accurate records of prescriptions, medication supplies, and patient interactions.
- Monitor and manage pharmacy stock levels, including ordering, receiving, checking, and storing medicines and pharmacy products.
- Identify and report stock shortages, discrepancies, and expired products where necessary.
- Ensure compliance with pharmacy procedures, health and safety standards, and relevant regulatory requirements.
- Assist with administrative duties including data entry, filing, and processing relevant documentation.
- Support pharmacy services and operational activities where required.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information in accordance with data protection legislation and professional standards.

Qualifications
Essential:
- GCSEs (or equivalent) including English and Mathematics.
- Qualified Pharmacy Technician registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
Desirable:
- Accredited checking qualification (ACT).
- Additional pharmacy service qualifications or training.
- Relevant healthcare or pharmacy-related certifications.
Experience Requirements
Essential:
- Previous experience working as a Pharmacy Technician or within a pharmacy environment.
- Experience supporting prescription preparation and dispensing processes.
- Experience maintaining accurate records and managing pharmacy stock.
- Experience using pharmacy software systems and record-keeping processes.
Desirable:
- Experience within community pharmacy or hospital pharmacy settings.
- Experience delivering NHS pharmacy services.
- Experience supporting medication management and patient care initiatives.
