Trainee E-Commerce & Warehouse Assistant
Location: Pleasley, Mansfield
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:30am - 3:00pm (27.5 hours per week)
Job Type: Part-Time, Permanent
Pay: £12.50 - £16.50 per hour

We are a growing e-commerce business specialising in automotive parts and accessories, selling through Amazon, eBay, Shopify and other online marketplaces.
We are looking for a reliable, enthusiastic and hardworking Trainee E-Commerce & Warehouse Assistant to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop a wide range of skills within a modern online retail business.
Unlike many roles that focus on a single area, this position offers hands-on experience across all aspects of the business. You will learn everything from picking and packing customer orders through to creating online product listings, managing stock and using AI-powered tools to support day-to-day operations.
No previous experience is required. Full training will be provided.
Main Duties & ResponsibilitiesWarehouse & Order Fulfilment
- Picking and packing customer orders accurately
- Preparing parcels for daily dispatch
- Receiving and checking incoming stock deliveries
- Organising and maintaining warehouse stock locations
- Assisting with stock counts and inventory management
- Labelling products and preparing stock for sale
- Maintaining a clean, safe and organised workspace
E-Commerce & Product Management
- Creating and updating product listings on Amazon, eBay and Shopify
- Writing product titles, descriptions and specifications
- Uploading and managing product images
- Researching product compatibility and product information
- Updating pricing and product data
- Assisting with catalogue management and new product launches
AI & Digital Tools
- Using AI tools and AI agents to assist with product listing creation
- Generating product descriptions and content using modern software
- Learning how automation and AI systems are used within a growing e-commerce business
- Supporting digital projects and process improvements
Labelling & Inventory
- Producing product labels and barcode labels
- Applying labels to products and packaging
- Assisting with inventory accuracy and stock control
- Maintaining organised product identification systems
Customer Support
- Assisting with customer enquiries
- Supporting returns and exchanges processes
- Helping to resolve order-related issues
- Maintaining excellent customer service standards
General Business Support
- Supporting day-to-day operations across the business
- Assisting with new projects and business growth initiatives
- Taking on additional responsibilities as skills develop
- Learning all areas of the business over time
