The Good Growth Foundation is looking for someone to help us tell the story online of what makes good growth and how we can achieve this mission across the UK.
We are looking for someone who loves a TikTok trend, has cracking ideas that could form the next viral phenomenon, top notch production and editing skills and a comprehensive understanding of how digital platforms can help us make noise and campaign for good growth across the country.
We’re a team full of energy and enthusiasm looking to make a big impact - want to come and help?
You'll be working closely with the Director of Comms to plan and produce video content across all of our platforms, helping us amplify our work and create engaging campaigns on a range of topics.
Key responsibilities:
- Spot opportunities: Bring creative ideas to amplify our work and exploit different angles through digital content. Identify trends and work with our Director of Comms to form an engaging and recognisable social media presence.
- Creative production: Conceptualise, script, produce and direct high-quality short and medium form video content.
- Slick editing: Execute the full post-production workflow and optimise for different platforms (eg. YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn).
- On-point graphics: Design typography and charts with software like Flourish to present our policy and polling in clear visual formats.
- Asset Management: Organise raw footage, manage project files, and archive completed assets systematically.
- Apply analytics: Become an analytics expert for our audiences, making sure our output is targeted at the right people.
- Timely publishing: Maintaining a grid containing a broad range of content.
We’re looking for someone who:
- Is politically switched on and social-media savvy, who understands how to communicate our innovative research to political and public digital audiences.
- Sees opportunities in digital content and has creative ideas about how to amplify our campaigns.
- Has great organisation and attention to detail.
- Is skilled with all software you might use, including AI-assisted editing tools.
- Experience in politics, campaigning, or a fast-moving startup environment is a plus - but attitude and energy matter more than a perfect CV.
