We are looking for an experienced Physiotherapist to join the Neurology and Stroke Adult Physiotherapy team at Chesterfield Royal Hospital. If you are passionate about providing excellent patient care, developing services and building a successful team, we would love to hear from you!
The successful applicant will be able demonstrate that they have the knowledge and skills to carry out highly specialist assessment, treatment and education to neurology and stroke inpatients, outpatients, and their families or carers.
You will work collaboratively with the existing Lead Senior Physiotherapist in the team to support service delivery across acute in-patients, rehabilitation and outpatients.
We are looking for an individual who is flexible to the needs of the service and who has excellent and proven time management and communication skills. The ability to collaboratively and compassionately lead a team is essential in order to provide an effective and efficient service and create a supportive environment.
We are seeking applicants with up to date knowledge and experience of developments and drivers within the wider healthcare setting, in particular around the therapeutic management of neurology and stroke patients, care, rehabilitation and discharge planning.
To lead, co-ordinate and monitor an effective and efficient service to meet the needs of the patients referred to neurological and stroke physiotherapy services including: acute in-patients, rehabilitation, and outpatients.
To be responsible for the overall management and running of the neurological and stroke physiotherapy services in conjunction with the existing Lead Senior Physiotherapist in Neurology and Stroke. Team leads will be required to work together to ensure that the workload is prioritised across all elements of the service.
To work with the Head of Physiotherapy to monitor and evaluate existing services and develop services, in line with the changing needs of the Trust and Integrated Care System.
To provide expert advice within the physiotherapy fields of Neurology and Stroke.
To assess, treat and educate patients referred within the physiotherapy speciality of Neurology and Stroke.
