We’re recruiting on behalf of a Legal 500 firm to appoint a Residential Conveyancer for their well-established Oakham office. This is an exciting opportunity to handle a quality caseload within a modern, supportive environment offering clear progression and a genuine work-life balance.

Role Overview
You’ll be responsible for managing your own residential conveyancing caseload from instruction to post-completion. The work includes sales, purchases, re-mortgages, leasehold and freehold transactions, and transfers of equity.
You’ll join a friendly and experienced team with excellent administrative and IT support.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing a full caseload of residential conveyancing matters independently
- Drafting contracts, reviewing title documents, and managing enquiries
- Conducting searches, managing exchange and completion
- Liaising with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and legal counterparts
- Handling SDLT submissions and Land Registry applications
- Ensuring compliance with CQS, SRA, and AML standards
- Keeping accurate records using the firm’s case management software
Candidate Requirements
- At least 2 years’ experience in a similar residential property role
- Excellent client care and communication skills
- Proficient in using case management systems
- Strong knowledge of residential property law and procedures
