We are currently recruiting for an experienced Fabricator Welder to join a well-established and forward-thinking organisation within the marine and subsea sector. Based in Fordoun, this is an excellent opportunity to be part of a skilled manufacturing team delivering high-quality engineered solutions for complex offshore and energy projects.
You will be responsible for carrying out a range of fabrication and welding activities in line with company procedures and industry standards. The role requires a strong focus on quality, precision, and safety, producing work to tight tolerances within agreed timeframes.
Overview job description:
- Interpret and work from detailed engineering drawings
- Perform welding in accordance with approved weld procedures and industry standards
- Carry out fabrication work to close tolerances
- Deliver consistently high-quality output within set deadlines
- Accurately complete all required documentation
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment
- Adhere to all Health & Safety procedures and standards at all times
Applicants to this role require:
- Time-served Fabricator/Welder
- Certified to ASME IX standards (Flux Core/MIG), ideally within structural steel and subsea fabrication
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Reliable, self-motivated, and safety-conscious
- Able to read and interpret engineering drawings confidently
- Experienced in fabrication to tight tolerances
- Capable of working independently with minimal supervision
- Good understanding of welding to recognised industry standards
