Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Electrician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems across various sites. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical principles, safety standards, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Duties
- Install, inspect, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment in accordance with safety regulations and technical specifications.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues using hand tools and power tools efficiently to identify faults and implement effective solutions.
- Perform routine maintenance on electrical systems to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Read and interpret technical diagrams, blueprints, and schematics accurately.
- Assist in the planning and execution of electrical installations for new constructions or renovations.
- Ensure all work complies with relevant health and safety standards, maintaining a safe working environment at all times.
- Document work activities clearly and accurately for record-keeping purposes.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople and project managers to complete tasks on schedule.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Electrician with practical knowledge of electrical systems and components.
- Proficiency in using hand tools such as pliers, screwdrivers, wire strippers, as well as power tools including drills and saws.
- Strong electrical experience with the ability to read technical drawings and schematics effectively.
- Valid electrical licence or certification as required by local regulations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently or within a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Good organisational skills with the capacity to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Physical capability to perform manual tasks including lifting heavy equipment when necessary.
