We are seeking a vigilant and professional Door Supervisor to join our security team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for both staff and patrons. This role requires excellent observational skills, the ability to handle various situations with poise, and a commitment to upholding safety protocols. The Door Supervisor will play a crucial role in loss prevention and ensuring compliance with licensing laws.
Duties
- Monitor entry and exit points to ensure the safety of all individuals on the premises.
- Conduct regular surveillance of the venue using CCTV systems to identify any suspicious activity.
- Implement loss prevention strategies to minimise theft and ensure the integrity of the establishment.
- Provide first aid assistance when necessary, ensuring that all health and safety regulations are adhered to.
- Maintain a visible presence to deter potential disturbances and provide assistance to patrons as needed.
- Liaise with local authorities when required, ensuring compliance with all legal requirements related to security operations.
- Prepare incident reports as necessary, documenting any issues or breaches of security.
Experience
- Previous experience in a security role or as a Door Supervisor is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with surveillance equipment, including CCTV systems, is essential.
- Knowledge of loss prevention techniques and strategies is advantageous.
- Certification in first aid is preferred; candidates without certification must be willing to undergo training.
