This role is part of Fedcap UK’s Economic Development & Workforce Development practice area and you will be working for ELITE Supported Employment.
Role Overview
As a Team Leader, you will play a vital role in leading on key projects within Elite Supported Employment. You will work closely with the Operations Lead to deliver services to our customers, support our people and volunteers and ensure that day-to-day operations are efficient, safe and aligned with our social mission.
About the Role
- Programme Management: Effectively support the delivery of operational team, assisting all services in line with organisational targets and customer needs.
- Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Provide ongoing coaching and feedback to support development of team members. Support underperformance in line with Fedcap’s policies and procedures.
- Quality Assurance: Support with the delivery of high-quality services, utilising all resources available whilst adhering to the quality management framework
- Team Leadership: Coach and develop the team to assist with customer service standards
- Continuous Improvement: Work closely with team/ office to identify areas for improvement in programme delivery and customer outcomes, helping to roll out and embed changes to improve efficiency and impact.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, contractual requirements, and health and safety standards, maintaining the organisation’s commitment to accountability and ethical service delivery. Support with the embedding and monitoring of customer service standards within your team
- Ad hoc ; Any other ad hoc duties in line with delivery program requirements.
About You

- Full driving license and access to a vehicle. (E)
- Proven experience in managing programmes or services, ideally within the not-for-profit, public, or employability sector. Experience in leading teams and managing multiple stakeholders is essential. (E)
- Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop teams. (E)
- Excellent organisational and project management skills, capable of managing complex programmes to successful outcomes. (E)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels. (E)
- Financial acumen, with experience in managing budgets and resources effectively. (D)
- Proficient in using performance metrics and reporting tools to drive programme success. (E)
- Knowledge and experience of the employability sector and local labour market. (D)
