Thorpe & Partners is delighted to be exclusively supporting a well-established, innovative not-for-profit organisation as it continues to invest in its Technology & Data function as part of a significant digital transformation programme.
This is an opportunity to join a growing technology team supporting business-critical applications used by both internal users and external customers. Working alongside internal stakeholders and third-party technology partners, you will play a key role in maintaining application performance, resolving technical issues and driving continuous improvement.
Essential Requirements
To be considered, you must demonstrate experience in most of the following areas:
- Application support within a commercial or enterprise environment
- SQL (MySQL, PostgreSQL or similar) for troubleshooting and data investigation
- REST APIs and system integrations
- Salesforce administration or support
- Microsoft Azure services (including exposure to Data Factory or similar)
- Power BI or other reporting/analytics platforms
- JSON and XML
- Understanding of the software development lifecycle and Agile delivery
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience working with third-party software vendors and internal business stakeholders
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
Exposure to Salesforce Apex, HTML/CSS or application configuration would be advantageous.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support across a portfolio of business-critical applications.
- Investigate, diagnose and resolve application issues.
- Manage incidents and service requests through to resolution.
- Support APIs, integrations and data flows between systems.
- Work with software suppliers and development partners to resolve complex issues.
- Deliver minor configuration changes and application enhancements.
- Produce and maintain technical documentation and knowledge articles.
- Identify recurring issues and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
About You
You are a technically capable Application Support Analyst who enjoys solving problems, working across multiple systems and collaborating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. You are organised, proactive and able to manage competing priorities while maintaining excellent customer service.
