Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced warehouse operative/collection driver with forklift experience (but not essential) to join our busy warehouse team. This dual-role position involves both covering for driver absences and carrying out general warehouse duties to ensure smooth and efficient handling of goods. This is a full-time permanent position.
Key Responsibilities: Collection Driver Duties:
- Complete 20 to 30 tonnes of bags
- Follow schedule routes that have been pre-prepared
- Deliver a first-class collection process for our donations
- Ensure all collections are completed in a timely manner
Warehouse Duties:
- Receive, weigh and inspect incoming goods
- Prepare orders for dispatch
- Keep accurate stock records using warehouse management systems
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the warehouse
- Assist with stock takes and cycle counts
- Complete ad-hoc quality checks
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £13.50 per hour
