Hours: 5 hours per day, 9:30am - 2:30pm Monday to Friday (Term Time Only – 39 weeks per year)

We are looking for a compassionate, enthusiastic and reliable Teaching Assistant to join our growing team. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of pupils who require additional support both inside and outside the classroom.
About the Role
As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and other professionals to support pupils with a range of additional needs, helping them access learning, develop confidence and achieve positive outcomes.
Our pupils may have needs including:
- Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC)
- ADHD
- Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs
- Speech, Language and Communication Needs
- Moderate learning difficulties
- Behavioural and emotional needs
- Other SEND requirements
Every day is different, and you'll play a vital role in creating a safe, engaging and supportive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support pupils during lessons and learning activities.
- Build positive, trusting relationships with pupils.
- Help manage behaviour using positive strategies.
- Assist with implementing EHCP targets and individual learning plans.
- Encourage independence, confidence and social development.
- Support pupils during breaktimes, educational visits and enrichment activities.
- Work closely with teachers, therapists and other professionals.
- Maintain accurate records where required.
- Promote safeguarding and pupil wellbeing at all times.

Essential
- Experience working with children or young people.
- Good English and Maths skills.
- Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and colleagues.
Desirable
- Experience supporting pupils with SEND.
- Teaching Assistant qualification (Level 2 or Level 3).
- Team Teach, Positive Behaviour Support or similar training.
- First Aid qualification.
