Electrical Installation Engineer (UK Travel Required)
Location: Thetford Based with Nationwide travel

We’re looking for an experienced Electrical Installation Engineer to join our team. This is a hands-on role that involves travelling to sites across the UK, installing electrical systems for stage and theatre equipment. No two projects are the same, so if you’re looking for variety and enjoy being out on the road, this could be the job for you.
What the job involves:
- Installing electrical control panels and all types of containment (trunking, tray, conduit, etc.)
- Running power, control, and data cables – including termination to a high standard
- Occasionally assisting our servicing team with urgent breakdowns
- Working closely with other departments and trades on-site
- Making sure all work meets current electrical standards and safety requirements
You’ll need:
- NVQ Level 3 in an Electrical Installation/Engineering
- Experience installing and terminating control systems
- Electrical fault-finding skills
- Full UK driving licence
- Willingness to travel and stay away overnight
It’s a bonus if you have:
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulation
- Experience in theatre, automation or similar environments
- IPAF, PASMA or ECS card
- Familiarity with PLCs or safety controllers

This position requires mostly working away, staying in hotels paid for by Centre Stage for up to 4 nights (expenses paid) per week. Flexibility with working hours will also be necessary with overtime rates paid as appropriate.
