Inventory Controller

We are currently looking to hire an experienced Inventory Controller to work within our busy warehouse operation at Affordable Golf, based at our site in the Hillington area of Glasgow. This is a fast-paced role, and we're looking for a motivated individual with excellent attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and a proactive approach to stock management.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintaining accurate inventory records and stock levels across the warehouse.
- Monitoring stock movements and investigating discrepancies.
- Conducting regular stock counts and cycle counts..
- Ensuring stock is stored correctly and efficiently within the warehouse.
- Producing inventory reports and assisting with stock analysis.
- Ensuring all health and safety requirements are met at all times.
- Keeping work areas clean, organised, and safe.
- Supporting warehouse operations as required and maintaining a flexible team-focused approach.
Requirements
- Previous Inventory Control or Stock Control experience preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Experience using warehouse management systems or inventory software.
- Good numerical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Manual handling experience is desirable.
- Excellent timekeeping and attendance record.
This position involves working 5 days from 7 on a 40-hour contract.
