Guildford Kitchens & Interiors is looking for an experienced Bespoke Carpenter/Joiner to join our team.
We design, manufacture, and install high-end bespoke kitchens, bedrooms, utility rooms, media walls, wardrobes, and fitted furniture for residential clients across Surrey and the surrounding areas.
Responsibilities
- Manufacture and assemble bespoke kitchens, wardrobes, utility rooms, media units, vanity units, and fitted furniture.
- Read and interpret technical drawings and cutting lists.
- Operate woodworking machinery and power tools safely and accurately.
- Fit hinges, drawer systems, internal accessories, and hardware.
- Prepare cabinetry for finishing and installation.
- Assist with on-site fitting and installation when required.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe workshop.
- Ensure every project is completed to the highest standard of craftsmanship.
Requirements
- Proven experience in bespoke joinery, cabinet making, or kitchen manufacturing.
- Ability to manufacture and assemble high-quality cabinetry.
- Experience using woodworking machinery and hand tools.
- Ability to read technical drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and pride in your work.
- Reliable, hardworking, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
- Full UK driving licence preferred.
Desirable
- Experience with Blum, Hettich, or Grass hardware.
- CNC woodworking experience.
- Spray finishing experience.
- Kitchen fitting experience.
