Join our restaurant team as a Kitchen Porter / Cleaner, where your work will keep our kitchen running smoothly and our environment spotless! This vital role ensures that the kitchen workspace remains hygienic, organised, and efficient, allowing our chefs to focus on creating delicious dishes.
Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen areas, including floors, surfaces, equipment, and utensils to uphold health and safety standards
- Wash dishes & polishing cutlery
- Prepare take out sauces , salads etc.
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks under supervision to support the kitchen team
- Dispose of waste responsibly and ensure recycling protocols are followed
- Follow health and safety regulations diligently to create a safe working environment for everyone
- Help with general cleaning duties in dining areas and back-of-house spaces as needed qualifications
- Previous experience in food preparation or restaurant environments is advantageous but not essential.
- Basic understanding of kitchen hygiene practices and safety procedures
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Good physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout shifts.
Shifts can start from 11am. Shifts can end until 12:30 am depending on how quickly you complete tasks.
Pay: From £10.00 per hour
