This is a unique opportunity to join a company specialising in bespoke work for the motor sports industry and seeking to recruit a new welder/fabricator for our team. The company undertakes a wide range of fabrication work on some very interesting vehicles but a large part of this role will involve the custom fabrication of roll cages.
Key Skills for the role are
- TIG and MIG welding
- Tube bending
- Sheet metal fabrication
- Ability to read drawings
- Ability to understand dimensions and tolerances
- Ability to prioritise and use initiative
We will consider applicants with a range of skill levels and experience. We would welcome an experienced fabricator who has most of our key skills but we could also offer a more junior post to a less skilled applicant with a view to training them up
We are looking for an applicant who has a positive attitude and works well both independently and as part of a team. Our company has a strong reputation for the quality of its work so attention to detail and pride in your work is essential. Our workshop is located between Basingstoke and Reading. Salary range depends on skills and experience. Overtime is paid at 1 1/2 x normal hourly rate.
