Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Finance Officer to join an organisation on a full-time, permanent basis. Key Responsibilities
As a Finance Officer, your duties will include:
- Overseeing daily financial operations, including processing invoices, payments and receipts
- Preparing and analysing financial reports to support management decision-making
- Ensuring compliance with relevant financial legislation, regulations and internal policies
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records using recognised accounting software
- Assisting with budgeting processes and monitoring expenditure against budgets
- Conducting regular checks and audits of financial transactions to identify discrepancies or irregularities
- Liaising with external auditors, banks and other financial institutions when required
- Supporting financial planning, forecasting and reporting activities
- Working closely with internal teams to ensure smooth and accurate financial administration
Skills and Experience
The ideal candidate will have:
- Proven experience in a finance, accounting or financial services role
- A strong understanding of financial regulations, standards and best practices
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
- Strong analytical skills and excellent attention to detail
- A high level of accuracy when handling financial records and transactions
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- The ability to liaise confidently with internal teams and external partners
- A proactive and professional approach to financial administration
