Duties
- Efficiently deliver prepared food from the kitchen to guests’ tables, ensuring accuracy and presentation standards are met.
- Assist in food preparation tasks such as plating, garnishing, and organizing dishes to support kitchen staff.
- Provide friendly and attentive guest services by answering questions about menu items and accommodating special requests.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of service stations, ensuring compliance with food safety standards at all times.
- Support delivery drivers by helping with order pickups or deliveries when needed, ensuring timely service.
- Use excellent phone etiquette to take reservations or handle guest inquiries professionally.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and front-of-house team to ensure smooth service flow during busy hours.
Experience
- Applicants must be at least 18 years old
- Previous experience in hospitality, restaurant service.
- Familiarity with food safety protocols and handling procedures.
- Experience as a delivery driver or in a role involving meal delivery is a plus.
- Background in culinary arts, hotel service, or barista work enhances your ability to excel in this position.
- Strong communication skills are essential for coordinating with team members and engaging with guests.
- Knowledge of serving techniques, phone etiquette, and guest services best practices is advantageous.
- Prior kitchen or restaurant experience helps ensure you can adapt quickly to fast-paced environments.
