Job Title: Solar Appointment Setter (Warm Web Leads)
Location: Remote
Job Type: Self-employed , comission only
Industry: Residential Solar and Battery Storage
Earnings: £50 per attended appointment, plus £75 for every resulting completed sale
The opportunity
HSEnergy is looking for an experienced Solar Appointment Setter to contact homeowners who have submitted online enquiries about solar panels and battery storage.
This is not a cold-calling role. You will be speaking to prospective customers who have already expressed an interest in a solar energy system for their home.
Your role will be to contact each lead quickly, understand their requirements and confidently book a qualified survey appointment directly into one of our Solar Surveyors’ diaries.
This is a remote, self-employed opportunity for someone who understands the solar industry and knows how to convert genuine customer interest into quality appointments.
Commission and targets
You will receive:
· £50 for every qualified appointment that is attended
· An additional £75 for every completed sale resulting from your appointments
· A regular supply of web-generated solar enquiries
· Uncapped earning potential
You will be expected to set a minimum of 15 qualified appointments per week.
At 15 attended appointments, the appointment commission would be £750 per week, before any additional sales bonuses.
Full details of the appointment qualification criteria and payment process will be provided before you begin.
Key responsibilities
· Contact new web leads within 30 minutes of receiving them
· Discuss the customer’s interest in solar panels and battery storage
· Build rapport and establish the customer’s requirements
· Qualify enquiries to ensure appointments are genuine and suitable
· Explain the purpose and value of a home solar survey
· Handle common questions and objections confidently
· Book appointments directly into our Surveyors’ live diaries
· Record clear and accurate customer notes
· Follow up leads that cannot initially be reached
· Maintain a consistent volume of quality appointments
Speed of response is important. Contact and conversion rates are generally strongest when customers are called shortly after submitting their enquiry.
Availability
There are no fixed weekly hours. Performance will be measured against results rather than time worked.
However, you must be able to respond promptly to incoming leads.
Some availability during the following periods would be particularly beneficial:
· Weekday afternoons and early evenings, including availability up to 7pm
· Saturdays
These periods often achieve higher customer contact and conversion rates, which can also increase your earning potential.
Experience and skills required
You must have previous experience in solar sales or solar appointment setting.
You will also need:
· A good understanding of residential solar panels and battery storage
· Experience converting web leads into booked appointments
· A confident, engaging and professional telephone manner
· Strong qualification, objection-handling and closing skills
· The confidence to ask directly for the appointment
· Excellent organisation and attention to detail
· Experience using CRM systems, online calendars or appointment-booking software
· The discipline to manage leads and follow-ups independently
· A reliable computer, telephone and internet connection
Why HSEnergy?

You will be supported by:
