Overview
We are seeking an experienced and highly organised Dental Practice Manager to oversee the daily operations of our two surgery mixed NHS and private dental clinic in Wembley. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a solid understanding of financial management, and experience in human resources. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead a dedicated team, ensure smooth practice functioning, and deliver exceptional patient care. The successful applicant will be responsible for managing staff, maintaining compliance, and supporting the overall growth of the practice.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and support the dental team, including reception staff, dental assistants, and hygienists
- Oversee daily practice operations to ensure efficiency and high standards of patient care
- Manage financial activities such as budgeting, billing, and expense control
- Coordinate human resources functions including recruitment, training, performance reviews, and staff development programmes
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and industry standards
- Implement policies and procedures to optimise workflow and patient experience
- Maintain accurate records of patient information, appointments, and treatment plans
- Liaise with suppliers and service providers to ensure equipment maintenance and supply stock levels are adequate
- Support marketing initiatives to attract new patients and retain existing ones
Experience
- Proven supervising experience within a healthcare or dental environment is essential
- Strong management skills with a track record of leading teams effectively
- Experience in financial management including budgeting, invoicing, and cost control
- Knowledge of human resources practices such as recruitment, staff training, and performance management
- Previous veterinary or healthcare practice management experience is advantageous but not mandatory
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build positive relationships with staff and patients

Pay: £24,420.00-£45,785.31 per year
