Job title: Landscaper/Groundworker Team Leader
Location: Liverpool & surrounding areas
Day rate: £135 to £150 per day for zero hours contracts (PAYE), higher rates up to c£200 for self-employed contractors – agreed rate will be based on skills and contract type
Contract: Zero hours or self employed, possibility of permanent employment in future
Hours: 9-10 hours per day, 5-6 days per week during projects
We’re a small but ambitious landscaping company based in Kent, and we’re excited to be expanding into Liverpool and the surrounding areas. It’s a big, bold and and exciting step for us, and we’re looking for the right person to join a new, dynamic team delivering our sustainable projects across the region.

Key Responsibilities
- Leading and developing a small landscaping team, working at various customer sites across Liverpool and the surrounding areas
- Delivering all projects to required specifications safely, and to a high standard
- Delivering all aspects of hard, soft and sustainable landscaping projects across both commercial and private sites
- Communicating directly with clients and representing the company in a positive, professional way
- Ensuring health & safety standards and any safeguarding requirements are always followed
- Helping us build and grow our Liverpool operation by completing high quality work and pro-actively looking out for new and enhanced business opportunities
About You
- Solid landscaping and/or groundworking experience (team leader or supervisor experience is a big plus)
- Confident running jobs and managing and developing team members on site
- Reliable, motivated, and proud of high-quality work
- Good communication skills and a positive, can-do attitude
- Full UK driving licence (essential)
· SSSTS or CSCS and other relevant plant & machinery tickets, or willingness and ability to obtain these accreditations
· DBS certificate or happy to obtain one
· Competent in the use of digital technology for communicating and reporting
