Duties
- Utilise accounting software (Xero) to record financial data
- Perform data entry tasks related to invoices, receipts, and other financial documents
- Reconcile accounts and prepare reports to support financial analysis
- Undertake month-end and year end procedures.
- Support the team in maintaining organised records of all transactions
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date-product stock levels across Company websites including placing orders to replenish stock as appropriate.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely processing of financial information
- Production of KPI’s and timely management information from accounts software and e-commerce systems to assist other team members.
- Ensure correct treatment of VAT, Import and Export Duty.
Skills
- Proven experience with accounting software including Xero.
- AAT qualification would be an advantage
- Strong data entry skills with high levels of accuracy and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Knowledge of office packages
- Excellent organisational skills and ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
- Experience in a similar role within a professional environment is desirable but not essential
