At Eyelines Opticians in Sevenoaks, we step away from high-volume, transactional dispensing. As a long-standing, design-led independent practice, we give our team the time and resources needed to deliver genuine bespoke eye care. You will work with a curated collection of premium designer and boutique frames, alongside cutting-edge freeform lens designs—giving you the autonomy to solve complex visual needs without rigid sales scripts or volume pressures.
Key Responsibilities
- Bespoke Consultations: Provide unhurried, expert advice on frame styling and premium lens options tailored to individual lifestyle and visual requirements.
- Precision Fitting: Perform accurate facial measurements, customized adjustments, and fittings to ensure optimal comfort, aesthetics, and visual clarity.
- Prescription Troubleshooting: Confidently handle complex prescriptions and varifocal fits in direct collaboration with our optometrists.
- Patient Continuity: Maintain meticulous records and follow through on bespoke orders to provide a seamless, five-star patient journey.
- Industry Awareness: Keep pace with emerging eyewear trends, frame craftsmanship, and modern lens developments.
Requirements
- Qualified Dispensing Optician registered with the GOC
- Proven optical experience, ideally within an independent or boutique/luxury optical environment.
- In-depth working knowledge of premium lens portfolios and tailored varifocals.
- Warm, polished interpersonal and communication skills with a natural flair for customer service.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and enthusiastic about collaborative team practice.
