Machmade is a growing family-owned Dyno-Rod franchise operating across Liverpool, Cheshire and West Lancashire. Due to continued expansion in our drainage and remedial works division, we are looking for an experienced Drain Repair & Civils Engineer to join our team.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a variety of work, from drain excavations and repairs through to reinstatement and minor civils projects. We are looking for a practical, safety-conscious individual who takes pride in delivering high-quality work and excellent customer service.
The Role
You will be responsible for:
- Excavation and repair of damaged drainage systems
- Installation and replacement of pipework and drainage components
- Patch lining, excavation repairs and remedial works
- Concrete, tarmac, block paving and landscaping reinstatement
- Supporting CCTV survey recommendations and repair projects
- Working on domestic, commercial and insurance-related work
- Completing digital job reports, photographs and customer updates
- Following Health & Safety procedures, risk assessments and Safe Systems of Work
What We're Looking For
Essential:
- Experience in drainage repairs, groundworks or civil engineering
- Full UK driving licence
- Good understanding of excavation safety and reinstatement standards
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
Desirable:
- NRSWA Street Works qualification
- CPCS or NPORS plant tickets
- Confined Space certification
- CCTV survey experience
- Drain lining experience
- Experience operating excavators and specialist drainage equipment
